I tried Restoril once to provide a good night's sleep aboard an airplane. I know that this is not a very scientific way of measuring it since an airplane flight can disrupt anyone's sleep mechanism, but I quit using this med after one or two tries. I felt that it did nothing for me at the prescribed dosage. Sorry I can't be of much help.
