I don't mind you asking, as long as you never call me "Ma'am" -- I have osteoarthritis, worst in my knees, hips, elbows, and wrists. I'm 40 1/2, but I'm small for my age. I've had OA since my teens, because of a connective tissue disorder, so it's long standing, and I've been through more meds for it than I can remember, but have relied on one med -- ZORprin -- for most of that time. And, frankly, because I hate taking medications, and because I was uninsured for so very long, I really haven't taken anything for it for years. Just suffered -- though not in silence -- for the most part. It slows me down, but doesn't really stop me from doing most things.
The Cymbalta seems to ease the discomfort a lot. This time of year, I'd usually be creaking a lot more than I am now.
