I didn't have a lot of nausea, and loss of appetite wouldn't have been a big deal to me (anorexic -- I'd have liked that effect), but all the start up effects faded within a few weeks. Probably by six weeks, everything was copacetic. The only thing that remained problematic was the amotivation, so I take Provigil, too. And it wasn't greatly effective for me, so we added Wellbutrin, too. Now things are OK.

By the way, I have arthitis and a lot of pain, and hte Cymbalta really has helped with that. I'm doing a hell of a lot better than usual this year -- usually, this time of year, my joints are all very stiff and painful. This year, there's some discomfort, no actual pain.
