BTW: When I said "Forget about the doctor", I didn't mean stop seeing them. I just meant to forget about how invalidating it is and to give up looking for help from them regarding those drug side-effects.
You don't have to be honest with your doctor about everything. I'm not deciding for you, I'm just saying it's easy enough to be discreet. It's better than being invalidated and labelled a hypochondriac.
The best thing you can do is see another doctor... but if the other doctor doesn't believe you, then you should probably look for other people who've experienced symptoms similar to yours.
