This is most likely restless leg syndrome, an involuntary jerking of the legs (but it can affect other body parts too) For me, it definitely was connected to serotonin-augmenting drugs. Zoloft was first for me....the twitches and jerks were so distressing, that is when I first started drinking alcohol alone--a bottle of beer to reduce the symptoms so I (and my husband!!) could sleep. This was 12 years ago, it was widely not known as a symptom, and I didnt ask my doc about it. I had some of those effects with Prozac, and with Lexapro, though Zoloft was the worst.
Some people on this board have mentioned ways to reduce this symptom, I dont remember what they were. Definitely worth asking around.
