Ive been on effexor now for about two and a half months starting at 37.5 for 2 weeks then 75 for 3 weeks then 112 for 3 weeks now ive just gone up to 150 but i still feel nothing,no change in anxiety,absolutely no side effects my doc says some people metabolize drugs differently but how far should i go before i give up on this drug. My doc started me on paxil and by the time i got to 30mg i at least knew i was on something because all i wanted to do was lay around and sleep but nothing from effexor yet
