I obviously have no idea of your problems so wont comment on them,
but all i will say is that perseverance and patience, no matter how hard it seems to be, is they key for UK medical help imo.
Often getting referrals to the wrong psychiatrists is very counterproductive, remeber young psychiatrists have been educated to be benzo phobic, so being referred to an up and coming phsychiatrist which seems to be the NHS way at the moment, is often a negative move.
HOWEVER i am also not saying that benzodiazepines are the be all and end all to anxiety conditions. My social and generalised anxiety is not as under control with clonazepam like the Americans on the board will have you believe.
there is a placebo effect going on somehwere along the line. Its good relief don't get me wrong, but not perfection, but again like i said before i don't know what you are finding difficult so i could be barking up the wrong tree.
Just bear in mind to be patient, do research, show intelligence and be prepared to be frustrated at times. You'll get there.
