No it takes a lot more to get high eating it but lasts longer. Roughly a week's supply will have you flying for 12 hours versus a few hours smoked. I've heard of a device called a vaporizer that is more efficient without the actual buringin & perhaps less carcinogens.
I've heard people say they have good therapeutic results using low doses of pot but frankly I like the stuff too much to stop at a small puff. I can give it a break for a while though, for a month or two...
