1. Until (if ever) he gets off pot, buy in bulk! LIke, an ounce at a time if you can find a dealer you trust.
2. Solution to smoke effects...eat it. Recipes are on the net. Another plus to this is that, though it takes longer in its effects, it is stronger so you can use less (pot experts may correct me on this one--I may be remembering wrong).
3. Once I took 3 5-HTP and 3 Tyrosine supplement capsules (white powder kind) 30 minutes before taking ONE hit of pot. Soon I was flying for over an hour. It was good pot, but I suspect not that good. (When I had smoked before I would take multiple hits without much effect except anxiety.) It should be possible to find a doseage of one or both of those supp's that enhance the pot without totally tripping out.
Im sure there are other things people have found increase the effectiveness of pot and its google-able..
