BP2 or Treatment resistant Depression

Wondering what people define as BP2? I read some stuff here that made me think that perhaps taht should be my "label".
Could you explain the diagnosis to me? It could make a difference about what medications I should be trying. I prety much decide what meds I should try myself so I could use all the help I can get.
