I hope the Cymbalta works for you Jerry. I am routing for you! Take good care (and I hope you are trying to eat!).

I lie awake wondering why I continue? How can one live being devoid of all pleasure? There's no substance....sorry to be all "depressed" - haha - but it's unfortunately true. I wish I could have a dog in my apt. I love dogs....

Don't give up Jerry. You have friends here. I would be happy to call you a cyber friend. I don't know if I would discard Cymbalta before you have even taken it. You can always take something else to help with the sexual side effects, if it happens (ginko, Wellburtin, Viagara). And, don't worry about the apt. being a wreck. You'll get to that when you are ready. Don't beat yourself up over the small things. I have a dog and am so happy to have her. She gets me out walking (even if it is only for 15 - 20 mins a day). Perhaps you can look into getting a cat. They can be good company too.
