Is this the Wellbutrin (the general Wellbutrin, not SR) that you have to take multiple times a day, or is it the kind you can take once a day at higher doses? Since I'm only on 75mg a day, I've only been taking it once a day.

The XL version is even slower releasing and is designed so that it only need be taken once a day. There is also an unmodified version of this drug that is simply called bupropion (not to be confused with the generic versions of Wellbutrin SR now available that have names like bupropion SR and ER). Standard bupropion is the fastest releasing form, and I believe it is generally taken two or three times a day, for instance, 3 x 75 mg/day.
