> I was taking luvox and for the first 2 months it caused MAJOR delayed orgasm (anorgasma or whatever its called)... but then it went away!!!! I'm ecstatic about this but was wondering about the mechanisms behind it... have any others had this happen where they had bad sexual side effects for awhile that lifted? Whats the mechanism behind this? Any info would be great...thanks

Stahl in "Essential Psychopharmacology" links this very common side effect to SSRIs stimulating 5-HT2A receptors in the spinal cord that are involved with orgasm. If this side effect eventually went away for you, it may imply that the stimulation of these receptors resulted in downregulation, or a reduction in their number, over time. With fewer of these troublesome receptors around, the side effect associated with them would also tend to diminish, or perhaps go away completely.
