"Well, I think it's worse once you're in the air, in so far as the handling goes.
On one trans-Atlantic flight, about two hours out of Heathrow, I noted the plane made a rather large turn to the right. It was fully fifteen minutes later that we were told we were landing in Iceland, to deplane a passenger who "may have had a heart attack". It was a panic attack. Given how she got to Iceland, I wonder how the poor dear made it home.

******************************************Ughhh!!!!!!!!! Just HEARING about someone having a panic attack while in the air..and then COMPOUND the problem by being "de-planed" far away
from your home, made my own heart beat faster! lolIll bet the "heart attack" reason given in many
plane landings are really panic- attacks- in -disguise.I guess without the complication of Agoraphobia
it wouldnt be so bad...once you were on the groundFunny....how limitd our thinking is.
We "panic" at being in the air inside an airplane
yet, we live our day to day life not really thinking about the fact that the very Earth we are on is a spinning, fast moving, Planet.. moving through the Vacuum of Space, held in place by the Sun's gravitational pull....Anyone else have these thoughts?
