dr.bob, chemist, and all: FUTURE antipsychotics?

dr.bob, chemist and all:

i had been diagnosed bipolar with psychosis in 2000 and have suffered moderately since then.

i am dissatisfied with current treatment options for bipolars and schizophrenics with psychosis. i have tried a number of antipsychotics, new and old, and while effective have lived in there wake of side effects for 4 years ... i am especially unhappy with insomnia and the weight gain.

CAN ANYONE HELP me find information on the future of psychosis/schizophrenia treatment? i enjoy to keep abreast of the antipsychotic "pipeline", but have found little information beyond current treatments. WHERE ARE WE GOING?
