In reply to Wellbutrin to mitigate sexual side effects, posted by Shyla on August 12, 2004, at 9:41:39
I have been taking Wellbutrin daily for several years now. It definitely improves sexual desire and function. Sometimes, however, it also produces some rather strange fantasies.
In addition, it helps prevent weight gain. It has also been sold under a different name for help in smoking cessation.
I take the SR and I prefer it.
Trazadone, taken at bedtime, can also help with sleep. Trazadone is an anti-depressant but seems to be used very frequently as a sleep aid.
It also has some positive sexual side-effects for men. I don't know if they affect women.
