I'm afraid I have to agree. My p-doc told me that the weight gain was not even a secondary concern (which depressed me further!). After I gave in and bought bigger pants, people thought I'd lost weight LOL so it actually made me feel much better.

BTW after changing meds as many times as most of the people here, my current combination of effexor and wellbutrin has had the added benefit of suppressing my appetite.

As you'll have read in many places, and as your doctor has probably told you, exercise will truly help your mood too. Keeping your metabolism up might slow down your weight gain, too.
