I wish I were watergirl--it sounds like a fun identity, lol. It's interesting that your experience is not the akasthesia as a drug side effect. But I wonder if a person can have akasthesia (which has an important ring to it) without a drug? I bet it is possible--most conditions that drugs can cause as a side effect can occur for natural reasons too. But don't trust me, I'm no expert on this. As for the UK--well, it seems to be a UK speech pattern, for some regions anyway, to say "I was sat there", when the US would almost always (I think!) say, "I was sitting there". It seems British, and regional, because not everyone from the UK says it that way. Also, saying "Uni" for university. A lot of people in the US say school, even for university, or college--and not meaning the UK kind of college, as in 6th form. I love these little differences, there are so many of them too. :)
