You've described akasthesia very well as another poster pointed out. It is a side effect of some meds and I can tell you, it's happened to me on several of them. Haldol did this to me once to the point of my wanting to end it all rather than experience any more of this horrible weird feeling. Sometimes I have to leave bed because of it, and waking my mate. At the least it is very annoying and at the worst it is searingly, excruciatingly unbearable. Tell your doc and they can sometimes help with another medication like Kemadrin, which is used with Parkinsons Disease (which has movement problems). By the way are you from the UK? One of the words you used made me wonder, it's always interesting to me when I hear it. Stay well.
