i have a really hard time believing that. While i agree with djmmm and gardenergirl, the higher one's MAOI dose, the greater the extent of thAt individual's MAO inhibition should be. And yes it depends on the amount of tyramine ingested as well, but the same amount of ingested tyramine will have a greater effect with lower levels of MAO enzyme than higher levels. i do not see how what you read would make any sense or be accurate.
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong, however.
