Dr. Bob isn't too keen on importing drugs into the US that are illegal here, and IMO, you might just as well try either desipramine or Strattera. Both of these drugs are selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors just as reboxetine is. I've tried both and would recommend trying desipramine first due to its relatively mild side effect profile and low cost. I found desipramine to be moderately activating with moderate insomnia and Strattera to be somewhat sedating in the daytime with worse insomnia at night. YMMV.
Of the three, only desipramine is a tricyclic, but all of them of are capable of causing "tricyclic-like" side effects such as dry mouth, constipation, and urinary hesitation due to their effects on norepinephrine reuptake. Because they are all powerful norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, their therapeutic effects are relatively similar (though not identical); the same may be said of their side effects.
