I would like to take a copy of this to my doctor in hopes it may change his mind.I am really sympathetic to your situation...that basically sucks. I personally would have preferred parnate, but my doc got all conservative on me about it....go figure.
I am taking a generic and now 5 mgs bid along with 500 mgs bid of the phenyl. I tend to need high doses of everything, so I have the option of going to 1500 on the phenyl.
I am happy to keep you updated, and if you want to email me (in case I forget) my address is dielotosblume1 at yahoo
As for side effects, the only reason my doc rxed it was because the seleg dose is so low that it diminishes the need for dietary restrictions.
I DO take a mood stablizer just in case this throws me into hypomania......don't know if that is a concern of your doc's.
I hope this helps, and if you want to take it to your doc, be ny guest.
Good luck with it all and keep in touch if you need anything.
