Hey Mike, sorry to hear that your're having a rough time!
1st I would say that if your tinittus is controlled and you want to come off of Klonopin and it must be done at a much slower rate-maybye over a 3 to 4 month period-and I know that sounds like an agonizingly long time but look at how long you have been on it...
2nd a quick withdrawl is likely to be uncomfortable for most anyone (there are exceptions) and if you go too quickly there is a slight posibility that the original condition may come back.
3- It does not sound like you are an addict either-just using a good benzo for a legitimate condition and
lastly the skin thing you describe might be likened to the effect of what is called -Formication- or like bugs crawling on your skin.
Bottom line is that if you "start over" so to speak and do a very slow downward titration say like reducing the K from its highest dose you are currently taking then reduce to by .25mgs for 2,3 or even 4 weeks then proceed at that pace withe each decending incremental dose-then going from .25mg in month 2 or 3 to .125mg the D/C it - I would say that you should end up having a MUCH better withdrawl period and things should even out to a better outcome than, cold turkey!
Good Luck
