Thanks, Ilene. Actually, my experience with Nardil and Parnate was the reverse in that the Nardil was stimulating and the Parnate somewhat sedating - Nardil was bad for weight gain - Nardil also was frustrating in that I was absolutely sexually "inhibited" above 45 mg.
If you are so inclined, could you tell me whether you are taking the MAOs for social anxiety, anxiety in general or otherwise, and how effective the Marplan is compared to Effexor or Zoloft (if those are among the SSRIs you've tried. I'm trying to guage my own next step. Much appreciated, Phil.
