klonopin, adderall, opiates, kitchen sink

Posted by Michael Bell on May 2, 2004, at 22:54:35

I've tried all the above for social phobia. Klonopin, of course works great for the anxiety. So does Nardil, but I had to stop due to side effects and scary manic episode. The other benzos seem to work, too.

But what about the reward deficiency/prosocial part? I've gone the painkiller, stimulant, amisulpride route.

To date, klonopin + adderall seems to have the best anti-anxiety and prosocial effect. But stimulants are neurotoxic, tolerance is gained easily, and the comedown from adderall sucks.

So my questions are:

1) for those who have used the klono + stimulant combo for SP, how do do I keep the effects more constant?

2) Does memantine really work to stop tolerance and neurotoxicity of stimulants?

3) Is there any other combo that people have used that is equally or more effective?

4) Does magnesium supplementation help at all?

Klonopin takes care of the anxiety, but I don't feel "alive" on it.

BTW, I stopped taking gotu kola because of poop-out and incredible acne.

Cheers.
