According to my pdoc (plus my experience and that of a friend), heightened anxiety and even panic are possible side effects of Wellbutrin. I found that it made me extremely tense and "wired", and my pdoc said that he avoids this med for anxiety-prone individuals because it's notorious for this.

I tried it for two months and never got over the side effects, so I discontinued it with no problems. But I do know at least one person who's had great results with it -- just be careful.
