I've read a lot about bipolar disorder, and more recently, TLE. There's some reason to believe that people with bipolar spectrum disorders may infact have undiagnosed TLE. Afterall, our mood stabilizers are in fact anti-epileptic drugs. I don't know if that's the case or not, but my impression from seeing many different pdocs is that, unless you feet neatly into a category, it's not that difficult to pick up a bipolar label. Compared to the days when people with undiagnosed bipolar disorder suffered for years before a correct diagnosis, this is probably better. Of course, no unnecessary suffering would be best. But the point is, if I offended anyone, I certainly didn't mean to and I apologize.
