Hi folks: I have gotten alot of great advice from this site relative to my experiences with Effexor. Now I have a question about my Mom. Several years ago, my Mom was diagnoed with Bi-Polar disorder. She has taken various medications to deal with this and now presently takes Zoloft and Wellbutrin. Anyway, recently her personality has changed dramatically. She is always "up". Everything is described in over the top/dramatic terminology. I sometimes feel(the wife does too) that we are watching a dramatic presentation. She has become very smoochy(for lack of a better word), something I never experienced as a child and not something I care to deal with at age 40. I frequently receive emails describing how I am her moon/stars. While nice sentiments, hearing them for the first time years after my birth has been odd. Further, she spends a great deal of time buying things and when she is not buying she plans what she will buy in the future. Just the other day she contemplated taking a vintage ring and having it made into earrings for my son's future wife(he is presently 4). Shoes, pocketbooks, jewelry, you name it. Anyone experience this. I am concerned about a potential crash as is my Dad and wife. What do you all think. Thanks.
