> I think some doctors give antipsychotics way to easily ... I mean sometimes they do augment the effects on an AD but they can be sooo dangerous. Seroquel 50 mg made me like a zombie and when they tried 5mg Syprexa and that gave me seizures non-stop. You have to be super carefull with those meds.Tell me about it! At one time they had me near 500mg for sleep. I have been chronically late to work and have gotten "in trouble" because of it. I tell this to my doc and she doesn't know what else to try. Ambien used to work wonderfully for me. I HATE trazadone and for some reason she won't putme on a small dose of a TCA or Remeron ("because of the weight gain)?? I think 300mg of Seroquel is causing my weight gain - and 15mg or less of Remeron will most likely NOT cause weight gain.
UGH! Doctors! Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't!!
