Vicodin is a no go all the sudden??

Posted by jerrympls on February 17, 2004, at 21:33:38

My pdoc put me on Vicdodin in December when I was going through terrible withdrawl from Nardil. When I got back in to town after 2 week with my family - I told my pdoc that I didn't think th eVicodin wasn't working - but actually it WAS working - it was just that the Nardil withdrawl was overpowering.

Anyway, she said that we could do "Vicodin Holidays" every now and then. So I asked her today because my B-day is tomorrow and I just wanted to "FEEL" somewaht close to good. However, she didn't want to do it and instead increased my Effexor and Concerta. She basically said "Let's wait until we max out the Effexor and Concerta before adding and Vicodin." ARGH!!!!

So, I guess I'm just saying I'm disappointed. I feel so plain, apathetic and dysphoric - espeically coming down off the Concerta - which really doesn't help much anyway!

So I had one Vicodin left and took it tonight -and I'm a different person - I started to clean my apt., listen to music, etc., etc.

So now what should I do? Call up and beg?

.....ugh....I just want to "feel."

Jerry
