Provigil (modafinal) I think is not an "antidepressant", but it could make a depressed person feel better since it gives more energy. But a depressed person would have to also be on an antidepressant at the asme time. Docs like Provigil because most people don't get side efects from it.

Provigil often does give a euphric feeling for the first couple of weeks, but then it goes a way.

Maybe you should try to convince your doctor that you will not abuse drugs, and to let you once again go on Adderal.
