Hi~
Lexapro has not been that terrible for side effects with me. I really think the only thing that I have seen in a slight increase in anxiety, insomnia and a spacey feeling. The thing with these drugs is that the side effects are supposed to diminsh over time until they are mostly gone. Do not freak out, worrying will only make you more aware of the side effects.
To everyone else. Thanks for all the support. Today was ok, better than yesterday, I went to the Dr. who said I have a sinus infection and gave me a Z pac. I was wondering if anyone also takes Omega 3 fish oil with their Lex... took it for a while before I took any SSRI and it was pretty good. I have not taken it with the Lex b/c I don't know if they lessen the effect of the other?
Also I know that lexapro is not a "happy" pill that is going to fix all your problems. However, before I took that stupid birth control pill and got my hormones all messed up I had been a happy person. Sure I had gone though things that made me sad but I had never been depressed a day in my life. I am not asking to be happy all the time, thats not life, I just want to get back to being me. Im thinking of all ya'll thanks again for the support.
Lexy
