> I've wondered the same thing but every time I go to the doctor about it he dismisses it and doesn't do the blood glucose tolerance test or whatever it is called. I just know that sometimes I feel better and less anxious after I have eaten right. For instance, last night I ate a blueberry strudel and then had an anxiety attack. I don't know. I think there is some link but I have no information on it and am trying to straighten out the connection myself.

>Can't shed much light on this except to say that I've noticed a similar phenomenon....often after eat something high in carbs I feel a bit better. High sugar content foods (like your blueberry streudel) often cause panic attacks for me. I think I have read that its related to the release of insulin when you dump a bunch of sugar in which in turn drops your glucose level. Many of the symptoms of hypoglycemia mimic those of panic attacks and those of primed for them will no doubt interpret them as such even if they aren't. Odd as it might sound a bit of honey or other nonprocessed sugar might help a little. Good Luck and Happy New Year, Worrier.
