what do I do when pdoc won't give me ativan.

I am in a bad way right now. It is 3am my time and I can't sleep. When I have been like this the only thing that will calm me down is ativan. My pdoc doesn't think I need it, but he is not living with me. My nerves are shot. I am getting panic again, just basically hell here. Where do I go and what can I use to calm my nerves. Help...............
