Lamictal for BPII

Anyone take Lamictal for BP2? Alone or in combo with an AD? My doc is suggesting trying Lamictal with Effexor XR b/c he suspects BP2 is my dx vs. depression and anxiety.
Any side effects? Also, any sexual side effects?
