I had a TOP research doctor put me back on Dexedrine (I've been on it MANY times throughout the past 12 years because my symptoms include a strong sense of low motivation, etc (and YES I DO live in the USA). Anyway, when the research doc put me back on dexedrine he had me on 10mg spansules 3x daily. I called him up and told him it wasn't working nad that It was making me cry insstead and he said "Then double the dosage." I was so surprised. I just said "oh--ok." And then I was fine. Eventually he added a 4th dose to the mix.

Thank you for the info Jerry. You don't have to yell at me though,
as I was in no way implying that you were, I was
just writing about my situation, and I thought from
reading some of these postings that a prescription
for dexedrine would be a logical step for someone
who had had such a problem, not for the weight loss factor, though,
the emotional sense of well-being type thing. Again, thank you for
the info.
