Going from 5 to 10 mgs of Lexapro

Tomorrow, I'm supposed to go from 5 to 10 mgs of Lexapro, per my dr's instructions. My first week on the Lex was pretty unsettling, due to insomnia and headaches, but I have finally been able to get sleep with the help of melatonin. I'm wondering if when I go up to 10 mgs, will the side effects intensify becasue of the higher dosage in my body? I'm afraid the side effects will be more intense... has anyone experienced this?
