yes dopamine is known as the feel-good transmitter..that is why smokers feel good when they smoke (dopamine released) and my occasional use of methamphetamine (release and blocks reuptake of dopamine) and also why i am taking 450mgs. wellbutrin daily along with 300mg. effexor xr and add 1500mg l-tyrosine on empty stomach in the morning
ssri's usually inhibit the release of dopamine and that is why i add l-tyrosine...precursor to that transmitter
