In reply to Zoloft vs Lexapro.. Please help, posted by Kristen_03 on October 9, 2003, at 11:06:26
Welcome, Kristen.
Most of us here don't use our real names anyway, so don't worry too much.
I've taken both Zoloft and Lexapro, plus a number of others, and, as you know, everyone's experience is different, but I'll share mine.
Lexapro didn't do as much for me as an antidepressant as Zoloft, but I didn't have many negative side effects either.
Unfortunately, in my experience, when something was working and I then changed it, it stopped working. Have you ever taken Wellbutrin? I've found it, at a low dose, to help with the sexual side effects that the SSRIs seem to cause. Doesn't work for everyone, but has worked for me. Just a thought.
Take care.
