Worked Once, opposite effect

Posted by John1022 on October 3, 2003, at 18:23:45

Can anyone explain or has anyone heard of why a SNRI such as Effexor worked wonders for me in the past and now is having an opposite effect?

Is it possible that something has been damaged or has changed in my brain that won't allow me to react positively to Effexor?

Effexor (and Elavil) have both recently caused me the same serious side effects of feeling 100X's worse and depleted, when Effexor once worked in the past for me?

I am at a loss right now and am very worried that all of these anti-depressants will have the same horrible effect on me of feeling much worse than to begin with.

Thanks
