Hey: IBS stands for Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It's a physical problem involving various parts of the digestive system, can be very painful and debilitating. Apparently it is often related to stress/anxiety, so I guess that's why BuSpar is prescribed.
For your situation, I think some people take Adderall, Strattera or Provigil too. I have no experience with these drugs, but lots of people here do.
