I have sufferred periodically from what is now called "restless legs", particularly on airplanes. A while back I was given Lortab (a hydrocodone product -- essentially the same as Vicodin) for the headaches I have been getting recently while flying (stemming from a long adventure with sinus/migraine which is not relevant here). It helped the headaches (of course), but as an interesting side-effect the rest legs problem has completely gone away!
Anyway, good luck going forward. I just wanted to validate that opiates *can* be effective against this kind of thing.
