When I switched from Celexa to Wellbutrin, within a week I was hearing strange sounds, like sand being shaken in a box. I've only heard this sound (it is also a sensation, for I could feel it as well-difficult to explain) after going cold turkey off of SSRI, which usually starts about 4 days after stopping drug. It would only do it after I'd gone to bed. Some people refer to this as "brain shivers" or "brain bounce". So, your terrible state could be a result of withdrawal from the Celexa.

That otherworldly sound that you hear when you are at least 10ft under water is in my head all the time, usually pretty quiet, but always present. It is almost like the sound you hear in a shell, but not quite.
Will this go away, or a companion for life? Do others have odd noises they have with them now and did your's stop when you stopped the meds that started them?
