YES!!! I have had this happen twice. It wasn't from a dream or anything that I know of...I just awakened thinking I was having a heart attack. I was hyperventilating, and my heart must have been beating well over 200 bpm. It felt like 300bpm, but I don't think that's physiologically possible. Anyway, it was beating faster than I've ever felt it, and I couldn't catch my breath. I thought I was dying. It was even painful in my chest. It lasted maybe thirty seconds, but it felt like hours. It was like someone had injected adrenaline straight into my heart.
