I can't speak too much on Remeron, because I could only stand to take it for 2 days before I said "Ugghh!!" to the s/e. Wellbutrin can very well cause chest tightening, rapid pulse etc... I never *heard* any noises with my heart, but I could certainly FEEL the effects. Although I don't see it as a serious health threat, I would certainly let your doc know about it very quickly.The dose can be adjusted downward (as there is a 100mg SR tab) so other options are available with it. However, it just may not be the right med for you, as we all react differently to the same meds.
