I'm bipolar II and am 27 years old. I've been on 100mg of Topomax in the morning and 100 at night for a year. I also take Paxil and Seroquel. In my case the Topomax and Seroquel are for the bipolar and borderline personality. The Paxil is for the social phobia and occasional panic attacks and anxiety. I had gained about 30 lbs with zyprexa and the doctor definetely wanted to try Topomax to see if it would help my weight gain also. I lost the weight in about 3 weeks. I guess that's it.
