I hope you get more than a blank stare when you discuss supplements with your pdoc. Typically, pdocs receive little or no training in nutrition as part of their med school education. And you can bet that the drug company reps beating a path to your pdoc’s door are not showing him/her the latest research on vitamin supplementation.
