In reply to Remeron's 'irritability' side effect---Does it ..., posted by McPac on June 15, 2003, at 16:38:05

> I know it causes anger/irritability in some people. Does the body eventually adjust to the med so that the anger/irrit. goes away or does the anger/irrit. stay as long as you take the med? Thanks in advance! It never went away for me the three different times (different combos) that I've tried it. It never seemed to get worse or better-just the same-and it didn't matter how much Remeron I took either. I haven't read anything here about anyone that took it, got irritable from it, then it "faded" after awhile either. I suppose that if someone was very irritable due to their depressive symptoms and Remeron worked great for their depression, that the irritability *might* fade away, but haven't heard that yet.
