All the pdocs want to push SSRI's which seem to be trouble for most of us with anxiety and panic disorder. However, they're determined to get us on one and at our expense. I'd hate to hear you go through trial after trial only finding that your symptoms are worse. For me, each trail set me back further in my recovery. It wasn't just "oh, this doesn't work and lets move on" it became a new layer in my disorder of agoraphobia, a new layer of fear and less confidence. Hard to explain, but those out there who have experienced this will tell you the same.

Most doctors get bonuses and incentives to push "new" meds from pharmacuetical companies. Something to think about."If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
