I'm on day 15 of Nardil right now, at 60mg and I feel okay, just okay, I mean for the agonizing hell I went through, I hope it gets better, but I'm also on 10mg zyprexa, and 7 mg clonazepam, so I'd have to be on crack to be full of energy. On this combination I just feel tired, HOWEVER, I am noticing that my OCD is a little less. Where as before I had masacistic, (sp) tendancies, they are starting to subside. Before I could have never worked with another person, but now, in the interim job trial I'm in before hopefully going back to school, I'm able to work with others, which is a huge improvement. I suppose it's like anything, at any level of cognition one is going to have difficulties and pleasure, it's up to me to decide if the glass if half full - doesn't that sound noble, it's not how I feel, I'm not depressed, but I'm not on fire either, I definately wouldn't say I have anhedonia, I do take small enjoyment in things, I guess i need to give the nardil time, on the whole, perhaps I'm receiving some placebo effect although my situation has usually been too acute for that to go very far, so chin up, smile, and wait.

> I was getting worried about you...I know how bad things to get - you just wan't to shut the world out. 2 weeks on Nardil is still early days, but just you wait and see...you'll know when it has kicked in...either slowly or fastly kicked in. There will be NO probs working with others. You'll have a grin ear to ear! With the Zyprexa and Clonazepam...is there any way to lower these? The Clonazepam is at a preety high dose in particular....maybe when the Nardil kicks in you might feel you don't need as higher doses. I am starting 2.5 Zyprexa real soon....what did you notice when you first started it? Tell me your experience, if you feel well enough.
>Yeah I'm definately hoping to wean off the clonazepam, completely if possible. If I don't I'll just start taking it in escalating amounts when I start feeling overwhelemed. About the zyprexa, first as a safety issue, my pdoc explained that since Nardil is so old and zyprexa is so new, he couldn't find much information indicating any interaction between the two. However, for me the Atypicals only made me sleepy, and to that degree took away the anxiety. Don't loose hope though, as I'm sure you know, many find that adding a small dose of an atypical can do good things, sometimes wonders for OCD. I'm hoping to come off the zyprexa really soon, is got me so heavy, combined with Nardil. I'm not sure what else to say. Just that there's lots of reason to hope!!
> Yeah with the message...forget it! When 60mg was reinstated for some reason my OCD was briefly in almost complete remission...but it's back a little, so back up to 90mg I go! Give yourself 2 more weeks at 60mg, then I say raise to 75mg for 4 days then 90mg.

that's pretty much what my pdoc says he wants to keep me at 60 for a few weeks then up. Hey Ace would you say for the most part nardil is pretty dependable, or does it frequently cycle in efficacy. Gosh right now I'm trying to decide what to do with my life. I'm looking into all kinds of programs, actually I'm really lucky b/c I have a neuropsycologist who's really in the know about the different programs and entrance requirements for the different psychology and neurobiology programs I'm looking at.
> So good hearing from you man, I think of you as a real friend too. Just keep me posted on your progress...I really am excited that Nardil is going to make you a very happy person. And you deserve that. Thanks Ace you're da best.
